A premium barbershop in Ponton, Oranjestad
Island Fades Elite is a barbershop on Ponton 2 in Oranjestad, a few minutes from the centre of town. The work is the same whoever you sit with: a consultation first, then a cut built around your head and your hair rather than a template pulled off a wall.
Most of what leaves this shop is a fade — skin, low, mid, high or a soft taper — finished with a sharp line-up through the hairline and temples. We also do beard sculpting and shape-ups, cuts for children and teens, freehand hair design, and full colour work including blond and platinum, which is a long sit and booked as its own appointment.
The shop runs on appointments, so you are not waiting on a bench for a chair to open. Booking online takes about a minute and you choose the barber, the service and the time yourself. Confirmation and reminders are handled automatically.
Visitors are welcome. Ponton sits beside central Oranjestad, so we are a short ride from the cruise terminal and from the Palm Beach and Eagle Beach hotels — close enough to get a proper cut on a holiday morning and still make the rest of your day.
